AIS Current Service Priorities:

FIFO – First In - First Out of the AIS Service queue with the following 4 categories as priority over the FIFO order.

  • 1) AIS Servers, Network Security/Connectivity (critical patches, updates, Anti-virus)
  • 2) Desktop PC Security Issues (critical patches & updates, virus protection & virus removal)
  • 3) Critical PC Hardware Maintenance (hard-drive failures and nonbootable machines)
  • 4) SPHTM Classroom computers computing labs & Lab Printing System
    •

    PLEASE NOTE: AIS will make every effort to evaluate and complete your request as soon as possible. The time that takes depends on the number and type of requests in the queue. If you wish to contact us about your request please have your job number ready.

    AIS JOB Queue: Service requests are handled in the order received with exceptions as noted above for FIFO.

Please note that due to the volume and/or the nature of the service calls we receive, it can often be over a week before your request can be started at by our tech department. Problems such as PC virus infections and hard drive failures or full system failures are given first priority.
